My husband and I got married last year, and as soon as we got home from our honeymoon, he had to leave for his next assignment. It was difficult for me to see him go, not knowing when he will come back and if I would even see him again. I am trying to be optimistic about things, but it certainly is hard especially when I have not even had a chance to spend time with him at home.

The other week was his birthday, and although I wanted so much to have him beside me I knew that there was no way for that to happen. All I can do is send him my love with a care package for troops which I ordered online. This is the best I can do while I hopefully pray that he comes back to me soon, so we can both spend a bit more time together.

My brother tends to be very busy during the football season. No, that is not because he is a player but because he is absolutely obsessed over this sport. I can never really understand how men can be hooked on these things, probably the same reason why they question how we love to go shopping a lot. There was even a time when he simply threw a birthday party at home so he can celebrate while still watching the game.

In lieu of this love of his over his favorite sport, I decided to come over to his party this year with sports gift baskets. I am sure this would work perfectly for the theme of the party and will be much appreciated by my brother. I can never really get why he would be so obsessed with these things, but like what I said I simply have to respect the wishes of the birthday boy.

Ailing Boss

When my boss informed me that she needed to go on leave for a few weeks or even months, I really got worried. Later on she revealed that she had first stage cancer, and that she would need to get some therapy done. I know how she feels at this point, especially when my mother herself had suffered from cancer and it was just a traumatizing and painful experience.

She has always been a good boss to me, and was always ready and willing to teach me the ropes. This is why I needed to make sure she knows I am always there for her, and would be praying for her all the time. I ordered some get well gift baskets which I had sent to the hospital where she will be receiving treatment. At this point in time there is nothing else to do but wish and pray that the cancer cells will be treated.

Getting Lost

There are those of us who always seem to get lost all the time. We have to admit that certain individuals have no sense of direction at all. This is why they would often get hassled in having to find their way and the right direction for our chosen point of destination. More often than not, these people spend too much hours just to arrive on time.

Getting lost will never be a problem when you have a Voyager compass with you. This is the perfect partner for those who always had this issue with directions. Things are much easier to deal with when you know exactly where you are and where you are going. Now everyone has no excuse as to not finding their way whenever they go to a new place or visit a spot unknown to them.

Off Season

My husband and I had invested on a beach front property where we can head off every time we have our schedules free for the weekend. This was a gift to our entire family after we have managed to successfully drive the family owned business well a few years ago. We deserve to invest in a number of things which can allow us to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Since my kids are into water sports, my husband also invested in a number of ski boats which we would use whenever we are in our vacation home. Before we leave though, we make sure that these boats are properly kept and secured in the shack with ski boat covers. This allows us to properly care for our boats and have the same available and fully functioning for our next visit.

Practical Packing

When we have motorcycles as our rides, one of the frustrating things which we need to deal with is whenever we have to travel quite far and for a number of days and need to bring a load of things we would need for the trip. This can be a dilemma for most bike riders simply because the compartments are limited. We would need to deal with our things and bring as little items as possible.

This is not all the time possible though, especially when we have a number of must-haves we need to take with us. The use of motorcycle travel luggage comes in handy for these instances to ensure that we have all our essentials with us. This is crucial especially for those long trips which call for more space for storing our clothes and items.

During the holiday season, we would usually be too busy with parties, plans and getting gifts for our loved ones. It can be a stressful day for all of us, and everyone would be busy flocking stores and malls in order to get their family and friends the best gifts we can possibly hand out. Christmas is after all a time of giving, and it is but natural for us to get a little something for people who mean the most to us.

Those who have no time shopping and thinking of what to hand out to their friends and family can simply get some holiday gift baskets for their parents. This is the perfect way by which people can lessen the hassles of holiday shopping when everything seems to be very busy. My Mom Loves France

My mom is a big fan of French design and I think that if given the chance she will transfer to France and live there. She has always been fascinated with the French culture and she even studied their language. She was able to got here once when she was still young and she really fell in love with it. I grew up with stories about that trip and how she wished that she could take all of us there one day.

But we eventually grew up and graduated from college and we weren’t able to go there. Now we don’t have the time for vacations too because of our busy schedules. But last week, when my mom celebrated her birthday, I gave her a pottery pitcher that had a beautiful design. I heard that it’s one way to have the French design inside your house. When she opened it she said thank you and I can see that she loved it very much.

Every year, I would usually hand out cookies and cakes which I personally bake in my kitchen. I make it a point that I have the time to do everything by hand, and personally hand out the presents I have created to family and friends days before Christmas. This year though, I have been hospitalized for a few weeks and would still need to recuperate.

Sadly, I would not be able to get the baking done in time so I would need to look for a great alternative for my goodies. I realized that I can simply opt for bakery gift baskets which I can hand out to friends and family. This way I would be able to follow the doctor’s orders to get some rest done and I would still be able to keep my loved ones happy. This is a great compromise for me this year!
