The Reason for Giving Gifts

Gifts are always given for a reason although there are very rare instances when someone hands you a gift and says “here, this is for you, just because”. Isn’t that heart warming? Gifts are usually given to celebrate an occasion or commemorate an event such as birthdays, anniversaries, mothers’ or fathers’ day. It can be a celebration of holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. These events usually require that gifts be given to the celebrant.

Christian gifts are given for very special occasions. They are meant to remind people about their Christian faith. Some Christian gifts are meant to be worn such as bracelets with angel charms that will make a young girl very happy. Others are meant as home decor. Examples are plaques offering reminders of commitment to the teachings of Christianity.
